What grabbed my attention from this picture, was the use of batik. The way the artist smoothly drew the wax and made outlines of the horse looks very skillful as i have experienced, it is very difficult. I also like how the focus of the picture is made by the use of bright and dark colours - the artist used bright colours for the upper part of the horse, the body and head, whereas dark colours are used along the bottom and top where less attention is needed.
