This is my main art work. I made this piece of abstract batique by using and mixing lots of different contrasting colours. I used my own photo of an angel and added clouds along the top to create a scenery. To make the angel stand out, I used more ink to create a deeper colour of red which is a vibrant colour that adds drama. The wings look like stained glass windows due to the various colours used. I mixed the ink with water to make the deep colour fade to the middle of each section where it comes closer to clear. The vague red which surrounds the hands are to make the scene more dramatic as it makes it look as though the angel is bleeding or she is about to announce news involving blood and danger.
